This morning my dad and brother left for a week long road trip, yay! We celebrated by making a trip to sell clothes and then found a few delightful yard sales. For under 10 dollars we scored some old-time kitchenware, a vintage fondue pot, a chalkboard, two small vases for my newly decorated room, a "Coke Is It" tshirt (very cute), and a mustard yellow small cup, most likely to hold some jewelry, and finally small coin purse with pastel colors. We walked across the street where the sale was not as nice...but walked away with a small frame to hang in the kitchen as a little prank for when the men come home..."At the heart of a home is mom" hehehe. We also bought an adorable baby girl's onesie. Hopefully someone in the family gets pregnant soon! Tomorrow I'm hoping to find some cute old jewelry as well as old luggage and a cute shoe case that I found today.
I can't believe tomorrow's the first of August! By the third of August, I hope to have my room completely finished. Scratch that, the fifth of August. My job is going wonderfully...or atleast the first night. Everything seems to be working out lately and I'm having a lot of time to organize what's going to be happening in these next few weeks. According to my "weekly horoscope" tomorrow and Sunday I must have faith in my originality and inventiveness. Hopefully that means creativity will follow!!
I'm excited for this next month! I'm devoted to making it full of creativity and productiveness.
